An agent can list, create, update, and delete WooCommerce products, and list orders, add order notes, or change an order's status, all through the same REST layer as the wc/v3 API.
SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce abilities, governed through the Bridge
Exposes a set of WooCommerce commerce tools (its own product and order abilities) to an AI agent, standing down automatically when WooCommerce 10.9+'s own built-in agent abilities are already registered so an agent is not shown two near-identical tool sets.

What has to be true first
Needs WordPress 7.0 or later with the plugin and WooCommerce both active. Order-related tools require manage_woocommerce; every other tool only requires the caller to be a logged in user, with no further capability check.
- WooCommerce must be active (declared as a required plugin)
- WooCommerce core's own canonical abilities (woocommerce/products-query) must NOT already be registered, unless the site operator has explicitly set the plugin's exposure mode to "all" instead of the default "auto"
This count can change
The five tools are a fixed array of hardcoded Tool classes (ListProducts, GetProduct, SearchCatalog, ListOrders, GetOrder) built in Module::buildTools(); each id comes from that class's literal name() string with agtc_ stripped and underscores turned to dashes. Not dynamic. None of the five declare a meta.annotations block, so risk defaults to destructive under the fail-safe rule even though all five only read WooCommerce data. These ability names are put together by the plugin's code when it registers them, so we worked them out from that code. Check the exact names on your site's Bridge screen.

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce work with the Bridge?
Conditionally. It registers each of its commerce tools as an ability with no meta.mcp.public gate, so the Bridge can wrap them, but the plugin deliberately stands down and registers nothing when WooCommerce core's own canonical product/order abilities are already present, to avoid duplicate tools in front of the same agent.
What has to be true for SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce's abilities to register?
WooCommerce must be active (declared as a required plugin). WooCommerce core's own canonical abilities (woocommerce/products-query) must NOT already be registered, unless the site operator has explicitly set the plugin's exposure mode to "all" instead of the default "auto".
Does SDX AI Readiness Toolkit for WooCommerce need anything special to work with the Bridge?
Needs WordPress 7.0 or later with the plugin and WooCommerce both active. Order-related tools require manage_woocommerce; every other tool only requires the caller to be a logged in user, with no further capability check.
