Run an internal linking pass

Internal links are quietly one of the highest-return SEO jobs you can do, and one of the most neglected. You publish a new post, it relates to four older ones, and none of them ever get linked together because going back through the archive by hand is tedious. Over a year the site turns into a pile of orphaned pages that never pass authority to each other.

This gives the agent the archive and the reading, and keeps the linking decisions with you. It never rewrites your prose to shoehorn a link in. It finds phrasing you already wrote and wraps it, so the edits are small and reversible.

First pass, change nothing. Search my content for that topic, list the posts
that cover it, and read them. Then propose contextual internal links: for each
one give me the source post, the exact anchor phrase already in that post, and
the destination post it should link to. Only suggest links between posts that
genuinely relate, and prefer phrases I already wrote over inserting new
sentences.

I will tell you which links to keep. Only after I approve, add them with a
literal find-and-replace on the exact anchor phrase, work in small batches, and
show me each batch before it saves. Do not touch post status. At the end, list
every post you edited.

Why this is safe to run

The first pass is all reads. Searching your content, listing the matches, and reading each candidate writes nothing, so the entire link plan reaches you as a list of anchor text and destinations before a single save.

The write half is a literal find-and-replace on a phrase you already wrote, which edits the post body only and never touches status, so nothing gets published or unpublished by accident. The content write ability stays off until you enable it, every call is checked against the capability of the user you bound the agent to, and every edit lands in the Activity Log with the post it changed. Because the edits go through revisions, any link you decide was wrong is one restore away.
