Restructure a post for AI search and answer engines

Before you start

A connected site with content reads and the update-post write ability on. For structured data, Rank Math with its schema write enabled; without Rank Math the agent places JSON-LD inline in the content instead.

Answer engines and AI search do not read a post the way a person skimming does. They lift the passage that most cleanly answers the question, so a post that buries its answer under three paragraphs of throat-clearing rarely gets quoted, even when it holds the best answer on the page.

The fix is structure, not more words: a direct answer near the top, headings that match the questions people actually ask, and structured data that tells a machine what the page is. This plans that rework with you, rewrites once you approve, and leaves your facts alone.

The prompt
I want to restructure [this post: URL or ID] so answer engines and AI search
can quote it cleanly. Read it first and change nothing, then show me a plan:
where a one- or two-sentence direct answer should sit near the top, how the
headings should map to the real questions a reader asks, and which FAQ-style
Q and A blocks to add.
Wait for my yes. Then rewrite the body in a single update, keeping my voice and
every fact intact, and add the matching structured data: if I run Rank Math,
write the FAQ or Article schema through Rank Math; if not, place the JSON-LD
inline in the content. Show me the before-and-after once more before it saves.

Why this is safe to run

The reading and the planning come first and change nothing. You see the whole restructure as a plan, where the answer lands, how the headings map, which Q and A blocks get added, before a single character of the post moves.

The rewrite is one update to that one post’s body, and it is bounded: it keeps your voice, it keeps your facts, and it never touches the post’s status, so a published post stays published and a draft stays a draft. WordPress saves a revision on every update, so if the new version is not what you wanted, the old one is one restore away in the post’s history. The structured data goes through Rank Math’s own schema store when you run Rank Math; without it, the JSON-LD is placed inline in the content by the same update. Both write abilities stay off until you enable them, each call is checked against the capability of the user you bound the agent to, and every change lands in the Activity Log.

Already connected? Skip the paste. Ask your agent for the “restructure a post for AI search” recipe, or just point it at the post and describe the question it should answer, and it runs the same plan-then-rewrite flow on your own site.

How it works

  1. Read the post and change nothing while it plans.
  2. Propose where the direct answer sits, how headings map to real questions, and which Q and A blocks to add.
  3. Wait for your yes on the plan.
  4. Rewrite the body in one update, keeping your voice and every fact.
  5. Add the schema through Rank Math, or inline as JSON-LD when Rank Math is not present, and show the before-and-after before it saves.

Questions

Will it invent facts to fill the answer box?
No. It works from what the post already says and keeps your facts intact. If something is genuinely missing, it flags the gap for you rather than making it up.
What if I do not like the rewrite?
WordPress saves a revision on every update, so you can restore the previous version from the post's revision history at any time.
