An agent can read Yoast's SEO score, readability score, and inclusive-language score for a site's most recently modified posts.
ThinkRank abilities, governed through the Bridge
An agent can read and change on-page SEO metadata for posts and terms, site-wide SEO settings (robots.txt, sitemap, schema, social meta, image SEO, llms.txt), run SEO analysis and scoring, manage image alt text, generate content briefs, submit URLs for instant indexing, and import SEO data from another plugin.

What has to be true first
ThinkRank and WordPress 6.9 or later must both be active for these abilities to appear in the registry. Every one of them checks manage_options, so only an administrator level user, or an agent connected as one, can call any of them.
- Registration can be turned off entirely with the thinkrank_abilities_api_enabled filter, which defaults to true
- Most abilities set mcp.public to false, so a connector that only lists publicly exposed abilities will not surface them even though they are registered
A note on the count below
The source registers 72 abilities in the free plugin, not the 57 easymcp lists or the 71 the previous draft counted.
The 72 ThinkRank abilities
Grouped by what each one can change. Every one starts off until you enable it.

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install ThinkRank and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. ThinkRank registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from ThinkRank starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.
Read more in how bridging works or the full documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Does ThinkRank work with the Bridge?
Yes. It registers 72 abilities under the thinkrank/ namespace with per-ability annotations and a shared manage_options permission callback, so the Bridge can list and switch on each one.
What has to be true for ThinkRank's abilities to register?
Registration can be turned off entirely with the thinkrank_abilities_api_enabled filter, which defaults to true. Most abilities set mcp.public to false, so a connector that only lists publicly exposed abilities will not surface them even though they are registered.
Does ThinkRank need anything special to work with the Bridge?
ThinkRank and WordPress 6.9 or later must both be active for these abilities to appear in the registry. Every one of them checks manage_options, so only an administrator level user, or an agent connected as one, can call any of them.
More SEO plugins
An agent can read and change Rank Math's SEO, sitemap, redirection, breadcrumb, and website-identity settings, read per-post SEO scores, schema markup, and link reports, run and fix a site-wide SEO audit, and manage tracked brands in the AI Visibility feature.
An agent can read and update a post's SEO title, description, focus keyword and canonical URL, find posts missing SEO data or with low TruSEO scores, manage custom robots.txt rules, and pull a homepage or site-wide SEO audit.
Verified from ThinkRank's own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site. Plugin authors change their code, so a name, a capability, or a condition can be different in a later release. This site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, WPDeveloper or ThinkRank. Bridge ThinkRank, keep the same control.
Every ability starts off, is scoped to the user you connect, and is written to the same audit log as core. Turn on only what you need.
Off by default. Capability checked on every call.
