What has to be true first
All in One SEO needs WordPress 6.9 or later and the plugin active. Post-level SEO reads and edits check the plugin's own post-editing gate (built on edit_posts), general settings and notifications check a general-settings gate, robots.txt rules and site audits check separate tools and analysis gates, all mapped to the site's own AIOSEO role permissions rather than raw WordPress capabilities.
All in One SEO also has a built-in integration
Beyond what the Bridge discovers here, Agent Abilities for MCP also maintains its own built-in integration for All in One SEO, which we build and keep up to date ourselves rather than read from All in One SEO's code. See the built-in All in One SEO abilities.

How to switch these on
Four steps from two active plugins to a governed connection.
Install All in One SEO and Agent Abilities for MCP
Both plugins need to be active on the same WordPress site. All in One SEO registers its own abilities; this plugin discovers and governs them.
Open the Other plugins screen
In Agent Abilities for MCP, open the Bridge tab (labeled "Other plugins" in the admin). Abilities from every registered plugin appear there, grouped by the plugin that registered them.
Enable one ability at a time
Every ability from All in One SEO starts off. Turn on only the ones you want an agent to reach, or enable the whole set in one click.
Connect as a least-privilege user
Approve the connection as a WordPress account scoped to what you actually want the agent to do. Each call still re-checks that account’s capability before it runs.

Frequently asked questions
Does All in One SEO work with the Bridge?
Yes. AIOSEO registers all 13 abilities unconditionally when the plugin is active, using its own permission methods, so the Bridge discovers and can expose every one of them without any extra setup.
Do All in One SEO's abilities register automatically?
Yes, unconditionally, once All in One SEO is active. Nothing else has to be configured for the Bridge to discover them.

Verified from All in One SEO's own free wordpress.org code on 28 September 2026, not from its marketing claims. Not every ability listed here has been run end to end against a live site. Plugin authors change their code, so a name, a capability, or a condition can be different in a later release. This site is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Syed Balkhi or All in One SEO.
